Deliverance from death and disease
“I accepted Christ at the age of 12. Learned a lot about Jesus while growing into an adult. Never did I actually see any event that would need God in it until I became homeless. My homelessness was chronic. I was at one time thinking of suicide. I didn’t see any reason that I should live and then GOD showed me one. The devil then tried to kill me twice after my hard work in the missionary field. One time a man tried to murder me with a knife, even after a 10 hour shift at Amazon, this fully rested man couldn’t overpower or kill me with a murder weapon with him. He was left trembling as God gave me strength to overpower him. Another attempt on my life happened earlier with a man trying to poison me then rape and kill me, it did not happen. I’ve been shot at with no injuries, I’ve had a hit put out on my head two different times and I still am standing and also God delivered me from Hep-c and I surely thought that I was going to die a painful death. All this to say that God looked out for me when I was alone and without a father, mother or anyone to care for me.”
Freedom from lust and pornography
“I went to church when I was a kid, but I never really knew who Jesus was or what it meant to be saved. I used to pray and ask God to save me when I was little, but I didn’t really know what I was praying for. I grew up and ended up suffering from low-self esteem and addicted to lust and pornography and allowing myself to be used. After a while I got tired of the life, but I couldn’t stop. I was addicted. Sometimes I even used to cry about it. A lady pulled me aside when I was leaving a shopping center one day and she told me that God told her to speak to me. She asked me if I was saved and I told her I’ve tried to be before but nothing ever happened. Then she told me that Jesus loves me and that He wants to save me. She asked me if she could pray for me and I said yes and we prayed beside my car. As she did, I felt a fullness in my chest and then tears started running down my face. I knew it was God! It wasn’t until about 2 years after this that I completely gave my life over to Jesus. It was a struggle at first but after the first time I made the decision to say “no” it became easier and easier to not do those thing anymore. I’ve been celibate now for about 8 years, no pornography, no interest in the opposite sex in that way until if and when God sends me the person He has for me. There’s power and freedom in the name of Jesus!”
Victory Over a Brain Tumor and Depression
“When I was a child, I dreamed that I would follow in the footsteps of my father who went to two Olympic Games. My father was a Swiss champion in swimming, I was hoping to shine in tennis or soccer and then my worst nightmare happened…I lost all of my skills in one debilitating surgery! My Brain Tumor was misdiagnosed for years and I was literally dying. In 1988 I had to have
I was resigned to give up on life but the turning point for me was when my parents placed me in a rehabilitation center for a week and I saw young children my age with various handicaps fighting with the best of their abilities. I decided then that I would do the best with what God gave me, I had seen people with worse handicaps than me doing their best and I had no right to give up. Although I was working hard in physiotherapy etc… I was going through heavy depression and it was tough remembering things I could do at thirteen but I comforted myself in knowing that as long as God was with me I would be okay.
From that day I fought regaining my balance little by little and walked in six months, I graduated high school, swam at a third division school, went to College and completed a Bachelors and Masters Degree. I also self-published a book of my experiences with a Brain Tumor in the hope of helping and motivating people never to give up in the face of adversity. Twenty years later God’s purpose for me to survive and keep fighting was showed to me when I

SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY
As followers of Jesus Christ, we all have an encouraging story to share with others about the goodness of the Lord.
What has He delivered and set you free from? How has he made a way out of no way for you? How has He encouraged you or strengthened you in your Christian walk? In what way has He blessed members of your family or what happened when He saved that lost husband, mother, sister, or child?
All things work together for good for those who love God. Others going through the same situation can benefit and be encouraged by the struggles that you’ve overcome by the grace of God. So, let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
Share your testimony with us. Submit it for review to possibly have it posted on this page and/or on our Facebook page for others to see. Here are some questions to think about as you submit your story.
- What was the problem, sin, or situation?
- How did God provide for you or help you overcome the problem?
- What did you learn or find out from the experience? How have you grown?
- What advice or words of encouragement would you give to someone going through the same situation right now?
Please keep in mind that the purpose of our testimony is to glorify God, not sin. Therefore, please be discerning as to your delivery and the type of details you submit.

“Alexa, play worship music.” I mainly use these for listening to music around the house while I’m cleaning or while working on online projects such as writing product reviews. The Alexa products are very popular and can help you out with a number of requests just by talking to them – from looking up an answer to controlling your smart home devices, Alexa is on the job. There are many different versions available on Amazon. If you have yet to get one of these little “ladies,” go ahead and snatch one up. It may feel a little weird talking to it at first, but once you get used to it, “she’s” a wonderful little assistant.
